Forward Montana

At a Glance

“Forward Montana” bills itself as a nonpartisan group whose mission is to encourage youth to vote, the group has a decidedly left-wing slant. While claiming to be neither right nor left, Forward Montana states is part of a coalition dedicated to “electing the next generation of progressive leaders.” Its issues include environmental protection and health care, among others. It is organized as a 501(c)(4).

FM is run by Rachel Huff-Doria, who previously worked for an abortion-rights group in West Virginia, and associate director Kiah Abbey “enjoys destroying the patriarchy on the weekends,” according to her bio. Its president is former Democratic state representative.
